The Chief Editor reviews submissions for:

A decision about which works pass to the next stage is made and transmitted to through email to the teachers.
Possible outcomes:
Accepted
Declined

The Editorial Team, composed by volunteer educators form several institutions evaluate submissions and provide recommendations.
Reviewers focus on:
Scientific accuracy
Clarity
Methodology
Quality of evidence
Strength of conclusions
A decision about which works pass to the next stage is made and transmitted to the teachers.

Accepted without Revisions
Accepted with Minor Revisions
Accepted with Major Revisions
Declined

Feedback from the Editorial Team is only provided once, and it´s communicated to teachers, who transmit and share it with their students.
Students revise and resubmit their work (when necessary) through their teachers, who upload it to the google forms.

The Editorial Team determines whether a final submission will be published.

Accepted articles are included in the annual volume of SUPERNOVA Jr Emerging Scientists Journal.

Early Submission: September 1 – December 15
Recommended for students who would like to submit work they did on the previous school year and wish to have the greatest opportunity to improve their work through the editorial process.
Regular Submission: February 22 – March 31
Recommended for students who complete projects during the middle of the academic year.
Late Submission: April 1 – May 30
Designed for students who complete projects close to the publication deadline.
